Hello! I’m looking for some ideas for a new tutorial!
Lately I have been feeling like writing a couple of new tutorials to sell in my Etsy shop. I would love some feedback on what you would like to see a tutorial for in the future. Wire work, bead weaving, or maybe even metal smithing? Please leave a comment with your suggestion! Thanks!
I’m also open to suggestions for free tutorials for here on the blog.

I’m just learning about wire wrapping and absolutely LOVE it! I’m still a little in the dark about how to choose which wire, what are the differences between the soft, hard, etc., why hammer it?, can you use a regular hammer?, etc….
You’ll have so much fun with wire wrapping! The possibilities are endless. The reason I use dead soft wire is because it’s so much easier to work with. When you hammer the wire, it actually hardens it and this helps it maintain its shape. You could use a regular hammer, but them you will have to sand any marks that it leaves behind on your jewelry. I would use a chasing hammer that you only use for hammering wire or metal.
